Disclosure - I’m no longer a Java developer responsible for delivering production-based systems. I did that for ten years. Instead, I’m a someone with a keen interest in Java and where the community plans to take Java over the next ten years. I still develop Java apps. However, the aim is join the smaller dots to get a better feel for the bigger picture.
